I might have to get an $8 one and cut the hole myself. The laser truck my dad had before he died he had my mom paint a Yosemite same image on the wheel cover. I think I want the same as a tribute

Personally I like the aftermarket lights that people add to their jeeps that make the entire spare light up like a 3rd brake light. I don't actually like the look of it, I just like not getting rear ended from a distracted driver and this might help. So I'd probably do this over the spare tire cover.

I do have nostalgia for the older Bronco covers, though:

I've seen some of these before. Sometimes it looks neat, sometimes I'm not sure.

Bommerang made this one, and it has the camera thingy built into the fabric. It's a very well made cover. This one was made for a standard 32" tire, and they have other sizes also. I'm sure if they can get permission they'll have one with the bucking horse on it soon.

Such a lovely shot. I am so drawn to roads like this: I have to drive them. It's a compulsion, something mystic.
Speaking of "mystic," I'd work an image of Gandalf into the design of the spare tire cover.
After giving it a lot of thought, and trying to come up with something cute like:
"I don't know how to act my age.
I've never been this old before!" Or,

"Beware of geezer chasing his 2nd adolescence" or,

"76 going on 16."

So, in a flash of Holy Spirit inspiration, I decided on the following:

"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat:

Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it."

Give people behind me at red lights something to think about!

This may be a dumb question, but how important/useful are spare tire covers?

I had a Jeep Wrangler years back and never put a cover on the spare. I don’t recall there being any issues from leaving it uncovered, but it was 15 years ago so my memory may be a little hazy...

I keep mine on to protect the finish on the wheel and reduce the environmental effects on the rubber.
