My suggestion is, just make sure it's OK with your state DMV for you to remove the third brake light. IDK for sure, but I expect mine wouldn't pass inspection here in North Carolina without the factory third light.
Id be surprised if they even realized it was missing.

I've seen several Wranglers in my area that have taken the 3rd brake light off and replaced it with a ring of LEDs that are mounted on the spare wheel mount prior to the spare wheel being mounted. I'm considering doing this to my Bronco (if/when they become available) because I think it looks cleaner than the stock option, especially if it's like this one that functions as run/brake/turn/reverse.
Do any of you have experience with this type of mod, and if so, is it worth it?

There's a girl where I live that has it on her jeep. Kinda looks like shit in person. Might as well add some color lights under your bronco too and just complete the look 😅. But, it's your bronco and if you like then go for it
Coming soon: low-rider suspension kits for your Bronco--be the coolest dude in the 'hood!

(Yeah, I know this is an old thread--couldn't resist. Bump!)

I added an Oracle light ring to my Bronco Outer Banks. It gives the back end a clean look because I took off the center brake light It adds a little uniqueness to your Bronco. The install took 10 minutes and total cost is less than a $100. Oracle has an install video on their site.
