Speaker Replacement

Hello all,

Im looking to replace my front four speakers and wanting some recommendations on the best speakers. Looking for clear sound and also great bass (I know without a sub I won’t get too much) I have a Kicker Key amp that will be connected to them.

Also,you are right,you will not get any bass what so ever without a sub. The 6 inch speakers are in kick panel and wont provide much bass. Sub is what makes the biggest difference in Bronco,night and day. If I did it again I would put a sub in first. I replaced all the speakers and sub last. Wasnt much difference until sub was put in

Used Kicker CS for all 6 and they sound great to me. Also did the 200.4 amp and base blockers in dash. It is really loud and clear. Just waiting for Mabett to have the 6.5 pods done for the rear then I will probably do 6.5s in the rear and switch out the 4".

I used the Kicker KS series to replace all 6. Huge improvement over stock, but still lacking bass. If I did it over, I'd go with a powered sub first and likely just the 4" Dash and rears instead of kick panels. The kick panel replacements didn't offer much difference in sound.
