Anyone making these that won’t kill the bank? I would prefer to run 5.25” speakers in the rear of my bronco as rear fill for when I have the kids in the car.

Mabett is supposed to be making some new pods for the rear.Anyone making these that won’t kill the bank? I would prefer to run 5.25” speakers in the rear of my bronco as rear fill for when I have the kids in the car.
im currently runing focal flax components as my front stage but want to bring my 5.25" flax components to the back of the rig as well. it looks like mit acoustics makes a set of pods but for $500.00 i think not.I fucking wish this was a thing. A second set of 6.5 like in the kick panel with full range running to it via forscan is a dream
Thats just gross.im currently runing focal flax components as my front stage but want to bring my 5.25" flax components to the back of the rig as well. it looks like mit acoustics makes a set of pods but for $500.00 i think not.

Yea, there are so many better audio upgrades you can do with $500 over some 6.5" pods. It just doesn't make sense.im currently runing focal flax components as my front stage but want to bring my 5.25" flax components to the back of the rig as well. it looks like mit acoustics makes a set of pods but for $500.00 i think not.

Can someone point me to the instructions to flash the rear speakers with forscan?just did the forscan update and omg it is so nice. Major difference
Looks great. Going to do the same thing. I have never used Forscan before.I just did this upgrade
Dv8 Rear speaker bar, added the Alpine SPV-65-SXS speakers that were recommended. Going to do the flash on the Rear with forscan this morning. Also added the kicker key 200.4
I'd love a 6 1/2 or even a 6x9 set of rear pods. The Focal 6x9s in the doors of my Jeep actually produce a lot of bass and with the ForScan update delivering full range to the rears it may be just enough to alleviate my belief that a sub is needed.I have a guy on the Mississippi coast I let use my 2 door for templates. Hes building a tailgate mount sub box with variable airspace for different sizes and rear pods that will fit a variety of speaker sizes and combos for components or up to an 8" mid (not a sub). I will be using a 5.25 component set myself. You could even do a 3way component set. Hes also doing a "stealthbox" design that mounts upright on the passenger side for a cleaner discreet install. We will be installing all my stuff in about 3 weeks and he should have his ebay store updated around then. This is a link to his Jeep boxes that he builds. He said pricing should be comparable.
