Replacement rear speaker pods to house 5.25” speakers?

I have a 2022. I ran the ForScan Flat Speaker Modification and it zeros out the equalizer on the stereo. I have a Kicker Key 200.4 amp so it was getting hampered by the equalizer before the change.

Rather than get new pods, I had Focal K2 4" components installed by having a hole drilled in the pod for the tweeter.

I also had a 6-1/2" component set installed up from and replaced the dash speakers with the tweeters.

Nice components! What subwoofer did you use? Focal is very high quality but the tweeters can be overly 'bright' if not adjusted properly.

I have two (2) Audison loaded powered 10" subwoofers and a Audison 4-channel amp all tied into a Link6 6 channel line output converter and processor. The Link6 has a subwoofer volume control so I can control the base.

This is my 2nd round as my first setup wasn't as loud with my roof off. With this setup, you can hear the radio loud and clear with the roof off at 70mph plus!

Very nice... do you think it's necessary to have such high end components in the rear? I was thinking to do high end Focal or Morel comps up front but then some mid-grade coaxial speakers in the rear such as the Focal access as I would rather spend the cash on top notch front comps.

It's not necessary per say but if you just want the best all around and don't mind dropping the coin, go for it. If you don't have an unlimited budget, then definitely pour the money up front and mid range for the rear is good for 99% of folks. It's what I plan on doing.

I'm looking to replace my rear pods as well but my main concern is size. Any recommendations on the the smallest pods I can get to replace the stock ones? Preferablly just plug and play.

Buy these. You can get a 6.5” speaker in there and the size difference from the stock pods is negligible.

I'd love a 6 1/2 or even a 6x9 set of rear pods. The Focal 6x9s in the doors of my Jeep actually produce a lot of bass and with the ForScan update delivering full range to the rears it may be just enough to alleviate my belief that a sub is needed.

6X9s were Da Bomb back in the 70s!!!
Especially Jensen Tri-Axials!!!

Thanks @Dadsquatch but I'm looking for a tiny replacement. Like 2-3 inches is possible. The pods take up a ton of space on my 2 door. So I'm trying to find something to replace but super small, or flat even.

Where did u install the crossovers? Did u replace the rear pod speaker wires? If so, then how did u do it?
