I went had a stock BB and put General Grabber ATX tires on it in the tire size of 315/70/R17 and recalibrated the speedometer using ForScan using the guide on their website and it changed the calibration, but for some reason it is 2 MPH faster on the speedometer compared to actual speed. Put in the number of 2741 which is the tire size in MM so not sure what is wrong.

The manufacturer stated diameter is often incorrect when calibrating the speedometer. They can only account for the diameter as produced but can't account for the diameter at different air pressure and different vehicle weight. There is a thread that attempted to log the different OEM tire diameters and the actual diameter used to calibrate the speedometer. In that thread was a post by @HoosierDaddy that mentioned to take the manufacturer diameter and multiply by .967 for an adjusted diameter to use for the speedo.

I have a base and switched to Badlands wheels and tires. When my speedo is 30 it's actually 32 according to the speed cameras. After 30 mph, it's 4 mph over. Haven't checked over 60. I adjust my speed to suit, hopefully.

I think these speedometers might be off from the factory. I went from 285/70/17 to 285/75/17, over 3% increase in revs/mile, but I’m only off 1.2mph @ 75mph. I wish I would have checked this when I had the OEM tires.

My speedo was off by 2.5% from the factory. I am sure they all are. In fact, only my Audi S4 had an completely accurate speedo. My wife's prior car (the Bronco is hers) was a Porsche Macan, and that was high by something like 5%.

typically, the factory reads a little bit high to prevent folks complaining about getting tickets. some jurisdictions practice zero tolerance over the posted speed limit.

My MKVII GTI is spot on, my Mazdas always ran about 5% fast. I’m guessing this bronco showed faster on the Speedo than actual speed also. On the stock tires.

My speedo read 1.75 mph fast from the factory (I have factory SAS package with OEM tires). I adjusted it using ProCal, went from factory setting of 606 revolutions (per mile is the measurement if memory serves) to 617. It still reads about .5 mph low at 70mph, which if fine by me, so 619 or 620 is probably spot on...

Determine the percentage the speed is off and adjust the tire diameter by that same percentage. Easy.
Awesome will do that, thank you!

For those that have changed tire sizes, whether via forscan or via the ProCal, noticed any MPG differences? I’ve lost like 2.5 mpg after going to a slightly larger tire.

You didn't lose MPG, it's just using corrected data for calculation. However much you adjust your speedometer is how much of an MPG change you'll see.
