That looks awesome. If I get one, I hope I'm as ballsy and do that too because it should have been that way from FORD.

Hello. First post here and I hope its the first of many. Ive been here a few times before but never registered. Wife and I were in Vegas for a party. So I see a 2025 Stroppe in the hotel parking lot (kinda hard to miss) and I say to her, "Hey check this out, these things are really cool " and she digs it a lot but says it would never work for me because its a 2 door (it wouldn't).

At that time I had ZERO clue their was a four door version. Well I figure it out (kinda shocked their is a 4dr) and show her the 26 online (which she thought was really cool looking, she said Gulf colors, close enough for me) and now im just hoping I can find one she can take for a test drive and gimme the thumbs up to buy it for her. Im hoping it won't be to noisy and rough for her but in all fairness to her she will ride around in my old cars with factory side pipes and a Rubicon with no doors or top for 7 months out of the year so she does put up with a lot of what she calls man boy toys. She does love the 17 Raptor though.

So yea, while I prefer the 2 door version Id much rather have a 2026 Stroppe Bronco in my driveway than a X5, Rover, or God forbid a Tesla. Do you guys think this 4 door will go over well? Yea Ive read comments regarding the colors and to that I say, well you either get it or you don't. IMHO they pretty much nailed it. Kinda like I would never want a bright green vehicle .......unless it was a 69 or 70 Plymouth or Dodge something or other.

I just can't see a whole lot of people wanting the practicality of a 4 door while still appreciating and paying for the appeal, history, and the in your face paint job of the Stroppe. Honestly If she doesn't let me get it for her Ill just buy it for myself and sell the Rubicon. Purchased the Rubicon a few years ago over the Bronco primarily because I could get a nice one with a third pedal. Obviously I would lose the third pedal with the Bronco. Hope to learn a lot here and love the idea of a registry even if its only for the 25s! PS It was great to see the Kar Kraft Bronco mentioned a few pages back. Thats one I wish they built.

Dont worry about what others think (except your wife). If you two like it, get it. They are indeed polarizing. Who cares? The naysayers dont get it and probably never will. There are some good threads on here of what people have done to theirs already. As to noise. Mine is quiet enough for me. I measured the noise level at 70mph and it is about the same as my unmodified gen 1 Raptor.

Good info. She's ridden in Gen 1 Raptors and liked them. Thanx

#066 is now home with me in Pennsylvania. Coincidentally, #065 is about 45 minutes away sitting on another dealer's lot.

If you're interested in editing the original post in this thread, I have SLA20066.

Also, today I found an odd VIN. It's 1FMDE0AP2SLA19953. The FORD VIN checker even confirms it's a Stroppe! I started a new thread on this hoping someone would see it easily but figured I should also post the info here since it's relevant.

Craig. Yes I need to spend some time updating the initial post. there are a couple more forum members who have bought Stroppes since the last edit. That one is certainly an oddity. Pre-production? I dont think we will ever know...
