Thanks everyone! Quick update.. Took the Bronco in and apparently the rears struts are blown with only 5k miles and never once taken over a curb let alone off-road. My guess is the dealer wont warranty because I have a leveling kit installed. Anyone else have this issue?

Does anyone have suggestions on what struts to replace with?

How did they diagnose that the struts are blown? That doesn't make any sense and what is the definition of "blown" they are using - are they leaking, bent, binding?

Should only take about an hour to pull that leveling kit off if needed. Something is not adding up though. With a 2" lift in the rear, you really need a panhard bracket. That is probably a good bit of the rear movement. Those tires are not really a great option, being e rated. The offset of the wheels is also pretty extreme. Ready lift recommends a +18 and you went with a -13.

they are leaking and he pulled down on the rear bumper and when released the body went up and down about 3 times and the tech told me it should not do that. He said it should pop up and immediately settle. I am just taking him at his word.

Just to clarify I have a ready-lift 2" leveling kit so the rear lift is more like 1.5" and the front is 2"

I am unfamiliar with the panhard bracket but I will look into it for sure! appreciate the info.

Ready lift does not offer a 2" leveling kit. It is either a 2" full lift kit or a 1.25" front only leveling kit.

The leaking rear dampers definitely sound like a defect, unrelated to the lift kit. I would warranty that with your dealership. A puck spacer lift like this would have no effect on the operation of the dampers.

With 2" of lift, a panhard bracket relocation is needed to prevent excessive rear side to side movement over bumps. It is often overlooked but people put up with poorly riding vehicles to look cool all the time.

Apologies, I have the 2"SST Lift. I think the rear side to side movement coupled with the struts is the whole problem. is there panhard bracket that you recommend?

While the lift most likely didn't cause the coilover failure (unless the shop some how over compressed them while installing the lift) it will give a lazy dealer an easy out to try and deny the warranty work. Remove the spacers and the tires and return it to stock before taking it to the dealer so they won't have any excuses.

If you end up having to buy coilovers out of your own pocket then look at buying some Squatch take-offs (can be had for around $1k here on the marketplace) or have a look at the new Eibachs that are reasonably priced. But loose the cheap spacer lift. Either option will achieve the lift and look you are going for and will ride much, much better.

As always, it is better to buy once, cry once.

I am not particular to this dealer, but I have only had good experiences with OME products. This bracket is designed for the oem panhard bar and a 2" lift.

Just ordered one! Thanks for the info. I will keep you posted on if I notice improvement.
