Hi! I was able to pick up a 2024 BL SAS that was on hold from the suspension issues a couple months ago and am planning my build. I'm planning specifically on doing an Evo 10-S winch, ARB brushless under the hood, and the rear FP or BA pull out platform, but in reading others' stories, I want to make sure I don't lose much if any clearance. Wanted to get opinions on if a suspension change is truly needed, if so, recommend a full suspension, stiffer springs, etc.? Would love some feedback to get ideas. I'd like it to not rake if possible as well. Thanks for any insight!

I went with Dobinsons coil springs on the factory Bilstein's. I went through a few sets to find the right balance of ride quality and height. settled on the 562 springs up front and the 569 springs in the back (winch up front and 2-300lbs cargo in the rear) I bet I could even go one rate softer with the 560 and 565 springs and have it ride even better.

I am also interested. I have added lots of weight as am prepping for some long distance camping (not true overlanding). Drive a Badlands Sasquatch with addl RC 2 1/2” lift+tie rod upgrade+track bar. I’ve added Broaddict interior molle panels in cargo area and overhead in seating area, M2M drop down shelf and rear tailgate, drop-down shelf, Gobi rack and went from 35’s to 37’s. I’m not through yet, I have coming a rooftop tent from openroad along with a shower to supplement my OpenRoad 270 awning with sides. And winch. This doesn’t include all my accessories like refrigerator, etc..

So you just added the springs to make it stiffer essentially? I'm not looking for lift on my case, I just don't want rake and don't want to lose ground clearance. Thanks!

If you’re talking about the hypercos , it’s definitely gonna add one to 2 inches depending on the configuration of the springs.

I picked these up to prevent sag in the back of the raptor. I generally carry static weight in their 24 seven in my pullout drawer. I’m also gonna be running 38s

Correct, the springs fit on the factor Bilstein's, (replacing the factory coil obviously) I used the springs noted above and ended up about 1 inch higher than stock height with the load i described. You could go with the softer ones and end up right at stock height with your set up as you described I bet.

The springs are the same length as the stock springs, just a higher rate so they will raise ride height and stiffen up the suspension feel.

Hyperco only makes springs for the Bronco Raptor I believe. Eibach and Dobinsons are the options for us lesser broncos. :)

Wanted to get opinions on if a suspension change is truly needed
… cannot answer if it’s needed.

But I did some research too. If you look in the suspension section there is a master post listing of all the different springs used by ford. cannot remember if 24 are included, but for my 25 Ford uses different numbering.

So here are my thoughts, I did not buy a 24 like you did, ended up ordering a BL 2.3L SAS Manual, ordered it with factory tow to get stiffer rear springs. Knew I was adding winch… it would add weight and there are posts that it would lower front end, if so then I could get the front springs for a 24 w/ 2.7L SAS w/tow package… I had order the 2.3l.

Just now I am installing the winch so I will see if it changes ride height…

Winch plus 100#
2.7L plus 100#
2.3L minus 100#

But since I have an auto 2.7l, it looks like those are the stiffest springs, regardless of tow\no tow. I'd love to hear how much dive you get on the front. Thanks for trying it out.

4 door, no tow. In case it matters, I added the full hitch, but it didn't come with from the factory
