Tailgate Bronco placement

I was rear-ended and just got my Bronco back from the body shop.
Unfortunately my chrome bronco logo that I had replaced to matte black was lost in the accident.
The body shop could only order the OEM chrome one. I asked that they not install it so that I could install the replacement matte black one.
But without the existing one to tape around to mark where the replacement will go, I'm left to eyeballing it. I'd rather put it where it goes, at the correct angle, etc. Is there a template? Neither the OEM nor the aftermarket one have one with it.

Best I can do to explain it is show pictures with the tape measure from a couple different spots.

I saw that one of the companies that sells the replacements has a paper template that you line up with the hinges and it has a cut out for the horse so you just line the replacement bronco right up in the cutout. Pretty slick.
