I will be staying in the Horseshoe Bay area in a couple of weeks, which is in the same area where the Texas Off Roadeo event is taking place. I know I cannot go participate in the event, since I do not have my Bronco yet (next year...maybe...I hope). But do they allow someone to drive up to the main event location and look at the Broncos? Or is it strictly off limits to anyone that does not have the golden ticket to enter? I apologize if this has already been covered, i did a quick search and did not find this answer, but may have missed it.

People with reservations or orders are also eligible to attend. (Not just Bronco owners.)

As mentioned if you already reserved/ordered your Bronco, you should be eligible to register for Bronco Off-roadeo. To answer your question directly, I noticed many folks coming and going that didn't appear to be registered attendees on the dates I was there. Based on that, you should be able to access the shop or do a self-guided tour of Broncos and accessories.

I saw a recent post where someone who was not an attendee at the Austin Off Roadeo still went up and visited and I think even purchased some SWAG. Said they were treated very nicely.

I live in Austin so rode up there a few weeks ago for my first view of a Bronco. The folks at the reception were very friendly and allowed me to walk in and around the main building. I had to sign a liability form before I could do this and was told I could not go to areas where the Off-Roadeo folks were. I was also able to sit in a few Bronco's that were parked outside, but were not part of the Off-Roadeo for that day. Not sure if things have changed now, but I wouldn't think so....

Thank you so much, you guys are awesome. I don't know how to close a thread, but as far as I am concerned, this can be closed.

When does it end? I didn’t realize it was a semi permanent kind of event.

Yep, I crashed their party and felt like I was family. Until they found out I was Edgeflyer and they kicked me out. JK.

Texas Bronco Off-Rodeo should run for a least the next three years, adding more stuff along the way. They have a five year option on the land lease.

I was told the lease was 3 years. The Raptor Assault school (similar to Off-Rodeo) was supposed to last 2 years. It is on it's 13th...

Hello again all. Thanks again for all the responses. I just thought I would pass on some information for anyone that reads this and is interested in checking these out like I mentioned above. I am here at Horseshoe Bay this weekend and went to look at the OffRodeo and really wanted to buy some swag. I was told I could not check out the store, swag, Broncos, or anything since I didn’t have a reservation to participate in this weekend’s activities. They did not care that I have a reservation for a Bronco. I was told I wasn’t allowed to be there since I was not participating in the actual OffRodeo this weekend. They didn’t care that I was from 6 hours away, or anything at all really. They just told me I needed to make a reservation and then at that time I would allowed to be there and look around. This was a big disappointment. I wanted to share this with others in case anyone else wanted to just go and look. They may have let people go to just look previously, but they don’t anymore.

I wonder what time you showed up. I can see if it was outside the time when new participants are checking in that it would be an issue, but when there is a bunch of people already milling about another isn't going to stand out especially since people don't all have their arm bands on yet.

If everyone is out on the trail, yes I can see that being awkward.

Now I did see something about them changing hours moving it from a two half day day experience (afternoon day one morning day two) to a single long day.

I was there this weekend and saw nothing that would prevent anyone from driving in off of the street if they were able to find it. Parking is very limited though and they only have a staff of about 10 people not including the wash crew. The staff in place has a VERY busy 12 hour shift five days a week. There is normally two or three in base camp at all times from what I observed.

Wow, this was from a long time ago. haha.

Well, I can tell you this, the people that were there at the time I tried to go see them were not nice folks. I tried to get in and they stopped me from driving all the way up there. They told me if i was not attending the Rodeo I was not allowed in. I even tried to show them I had a reservation and they said that did not qualify. They said I had to be an owner AND be registered for that event. I am glad others had different experiences, but mine was very poor.
