Fellow Texans - I was Googling future places to take my Bronco and couldn't find a great repository of off road parks, trails, campsites, fireroads, mudpits, you get the idea. The only place around Austin I found was the Hidden Falls Adventure park, and every website I found looked like it was made in Geocities circa 2003.

I am sure I am not alone and that many of you have been making a list of places to see in your new Bronco, so lets hear it!

Where in Texas are you going to be testing out your new Bronco's limits!?

There's a supposedly good off-roading park northwest of Fort Worth in Bridgeport.

Northwest OHV Park

I just came back from Hidden Falls. It has simple to HARD trails. It was great.

Northwest is great too. Just smaller compared to HF. Its more muddy if you are into that.

Some of the trails will be on the nav software package thats part of the bronco to if you look them up individually you can see what trails will come pre loaded on the Bronco. Most of the trails though seem to be rocky mountain based though very few Tx specific from what I saw

Round Rock, about an hour straight East of Marble Falls.

Here is another one I found, 2 1/2 hours east of Dallas:

Barnwell Mountain Recreational Area
Was popping in here to recommend Barnwell. It's got quite a few trails, rated from "Easy" to "Challenging" and there are guide posts set up throughout the park. Those can be cross referenced to GPS and online trail maps.

If anyone is heading up to Barnwell after they get their Bronco, shoot me a PM. It's going to be the first and most frequent set of trails the wife and I will be visiting when ours is delivered.

I usually take the Jeep to Bridgeport but have been wanting to check out Barnwell. I will definitely be taking the Bronco and the fam out there.

What about Amarillo? With that canyon they have up there I imagine there has got to be some good off roading to go with it.
