Love the build bro! I have a question though... I recently did a 1.5 lift front and rear on my sasq bronco, and also went with Mickey Thompson MTZ P3 37 x 12.50 x 17 tires. I'm getting rubbing in the front at full lock turn with any kind of articulation, what do you suggest I do to get rid of that rubbing? I am also on stock sasq wheels. Thanks in advance
If your rubbing against the crash bar mounting hole, I've seen a few people get a grinder on where the crash bars go and take a few inches off. Also you could get rims that are offset to where the rim is closer to vehicle, which would bring the tires out more. This would change the geometry, so you might be sacrificing off-road capablities.

Hey everyone!
Havenā€™t posted here for a pretty long time but thought I would share what my build looks like so far. I got my bronco back in August of 2021 and am about to hit 6 months of ownership. Iā€™ve put about 7,000 miles on it so far and could not be happier. I got a 4 door badlands non Sasquatch. Got the V6 and color is carbonized grey. Since Iā€™ve picked it up itā€™s had some modifications to it and itā€™s even more beastly than stock! Iā€™ll attach a list of what Iā€™ve done to it below and if you have questions let me know. You can also follow the journey and adventure on my Instagram @buckinn_bronco. ThanksšŸ¤™šŸ¼

The Buckinn Bronco Build

SUSPENSION- Fox 2.5 coilovers which gives me about 3ā€ lift from stock
UPPER AND LOWER CONTROL ARMS - camburg racing
WHEELS- fuel off-road covert bronze 17x9 +1 offset
TIRES- I started the build with 35ā€ Nitto trail grapplers but just upgraded to 37x12.50 Mickey Thompson Baja MTZ P3
LIGHTS- all lights are Baja designs. They are squadron series and onX6 linkable. I will be getting other lights out on soon with my aftermarket bumpers
BUMPERS- will be replacing the stock ones with addictive desert designs stealth fighter front and rear.
AIR INTAKE- putting in a k&n cold air intake once I get it in the mai
ENGINE- installed UPRā€™s oil catch can system for cleaner air intake and performance. Will be tuning as well once available
EXHAUST- will be putting on magnaflows overland series exhaust once I get it
ROCK SLIDERS- I did have some gorhino steps but they rubbed on my 37ā€™s so I will be getting goat fabrications rock sliders once they allow people to buy them
Paint and windows- Iā€™ve ppf the whole vehicle in xpel and tinted the windows
INTERIOR- nothing new really on the interior. Just have the marine grade vinyl and itā€™s amazing. In the cargo area I installed a the cargo slide out storage and love it. Carries all my tools and my recovery gear that I need.
EXTERIOR- I also painted my badlands grill matte black for some contrast color from the carbonized grey paint.
FUTURE UPGRADES- I will be possibly installing the advanced fiber glass fenders but am still undecided about it. I will be for sure getting advanced fiber glasses hard top. To get a factory hardtop in the next year is probably impossible. Other then that nothing else planned for now.

Nice rig , what tires do you like better the grapplers or Baja and how are both for throwing rocks?

I had the same problem and what I did is cut off the crash bars mounting on the back of the front wheel wells. That was where it rubbed for me. I also trimmed the fender liner which isnā€™t a huge deal either.

I pretty much love everything you did here. Love the wheels and tires, suspension, lift, even the lights. The only issue I'd have with mimicking your light design is interference with a winch, but I love that placement vs. a lightbar above the windshield which is less useful most of the time for wheeling applications.

I've been debating on-board air like I've got in my Jeep. I'm curious what your setup is that you've got there with the hood up and the 4 air-up lines snaking out to the tires, and how long it would take to air up all 4 tires from, say, 12PSI back to 35PSI. Also do you have to give the compressor a break during the air-up?

Thanks for sharing -- REALLY nice.
I just have the arb mobile air compressor that hooks up the the battery. I will be installing a on board arb twin air compressor here in the next week or so

Nice! You mentioned upgrading from 35" to 37" tires. Are any of these pics with the 35" tires?
On some of the pics I posted you will see the 35ā€™s which were Nitto trail grapplers. And the Mickey Thompsons at the end of the pics are the 37ā€™s

I
How did you get the Fox coilover lift? Iā€™ve called about every place I could find online that sells them, including Fox directly, and was told that nobody knows when they will be available. I put a pre-order in through our local 4x4 store with BDS.
got super lucky and Loren Healy posted about the coilovers being availble through rtr vehicles one day and I hoped on a rn was able to snag a pair and got them super fast. Iā€™ve heard that situation from most of everyone looking for coilovers

I loved the trail grapplers but couldnā€™t get them in 37ā€™s because they werenā€™t available. But the trail grapplers wee super tough and clear mud super well and grip really well. Super solid tire. The Mickey Thompsons are basically the same tbh. I will be testing them more today actually lol

Thanks, a few more questionsā€¦ šŸ˜€

Is the gas station pic with 35s?

Did you upgrade the suspension BEFORE upgrading the tires to 37s?

Is the 2.5 kit considered the min. lift for 37s?

Any tire rub currently with the 37s?

I ordered the exact same build in the same color so I will be watching this thread closely. Any idea what one could expect to spend to upgrade the suspension and tires? Would I have been better off with just ordering the Sasquatch package?
