Looks good! I just purchased a take off factory rear steel bumper to replace the plastic one as well. Did you only have to replace the inner and outer retainers? I saw a diagram that looked like the sensors themselves might be different too but I don't see why they would be.

Thanks! Yeah, every single sensor retainer had to be changed to one that is steel compatible. They’re even smaller on steel bumpers compared to the plastic bumper retainers.

Thanks, were you able to use the same sensors or are they different?
Do you know if these were the part #s you used for the retainers? One of those inners costs less than $5 and the other costs over $70??
Inners:
M2DZ-15K861-G
M2DZ-15K861-H
Outers:
M2DZ-15K861-CA
M2DZ-15K861-CB
M2DZ-15K861-CC
M2DZ-15K861-CD

I only needed to purchase the new sensor housings and place my stock sensors in them for the swap over.
Those inner part numbers I’m iffy on, only because I don’t recognize the part diagram whatsoever. But the outer part numbers appear to be correct. I think at some point in the last year Ford updated the product numbers and changed these.

Completely forgot to add my RTR grill to the progress list as well:

Did you have the grill painted or is that the RTE factory finish? It looks great

I took a rock through my stock grill and I was thinking about the RTR as a replacement

It’s the standard RTR satin finish.

What's next:

1) Standard to Capable & Steel bumper swap (In-Progress)
AD3AF96F-07BB-4CFA-9B0F-426681710249_1_105_c.jpeg

(Still awaiting front sensor retainers for Capable bumper. Rear needs non-SAS end caps and it'll be 100% installed) ~ finished late 2022

2) 2 Inch Suspension Lift (On Hold pending market options for coilover setups or SAS takeoffs) ~ Rough Country 2” Spacer Lift installed

3) ADV Modular Black UV Hardtop (hopefully I get it by January 🤞🏽) ~ cancelled
Did you need to change out the wiring harness on either front or rear bumper swap? I am looking at doing the same thing.

If yours came with the High Package parking sensor harnesses, you would need to swap them over to each and route them how you see fit (zip ties become your best friend). It’ll never be a 1 to 1 factory match though, so some factory bar coded stickers may peek through.
