Oooooooh. Can you tell me about that retro wood cutout for your front console?

Got on Amazon called Muslogy. Mine was a matte finish but they also have a gloss dark wood. The kit comes with the center console switch plates and door handles. Some of the bigger pieces looked more fake but the switch panels and front bezel look pretty good. More of a temp solution until a company makes some legit material ones

Yeah great shape and fit and actually functional with multiple mounting points (tow hook frame, bumper, and thru grill to body above radiator mounting) Middle grille can be removed for more camera view and they do offer sensor relocation brackets if you prefer to keep that function

40s on a M190 and 2.0 steering rack, oh and 3.73s....

OP go ahead and set aside the money to do this right.

If this is a Mall Crawler you will be "ok." Steering is going to wear out much faster, but probably won't die in your ownership.

Oh for sure. When the time comes all of those items will need to be upgraded. I’m not under the illusion they will hold up for an extended period of time although I don’t go really hard fortunately.

Yeah I was actually running the pre runner prior and I couldn’t get passed the fact that the way it mounted to the bumper seemed more aesthetic and not functional. Looks great though

The workmanship is impeccable. But not even a rear locker. Looks great if you are into that look, but performance on and off road has been sacrificed a lot for those looks. Off-road hill climbs might be the worst with the lack of a rear locker and the high center of gravity shift of weight to the rear. I've watched a two door on 35's with no lockers fail to climb a hill that my then bone-stock BD climbed almost without spinning a wheel.

I live in Tampa FL though. I built this for more practical application in my area. Dirt roads but mostly flats to camp sites and a ton of highway driving. If I lived in a different part of the country I agree would basically be useless unless I upgraded the rear axle etc.
