I have a 7/15/20 reservation date with an order confirmed on 1/23/21. I received an email on 8/19/21 telling me that it was scheduled for a build date of 9/13/21. On 10/1/21 I received another email saying the build date was pushed back to 10/18/21. I have been in contact with my dealer the whole time who has been as helpful as they can. They told me on 11/10/21 that is should be at their dealership around 11/20/21. I called yesterday and they said it was still in production in Michigan, which is what it says every time I track it through Ford's tracking system. I finally decided to call Ford's chat number and got forwarded to their Bronco specialists.
They told me that the front axle was replaced a third time on 11/30/21. They also said that this is one of the last things to be installed during production. They recommended that I call back Friday because they update the status of everything on Thursday. I will be calling every Friday until my Bronco is in the driveway! I am not sure what is going on at the factory, but I am worried about the build quality to say the least. I am not in manufacturing but, it seems like they are rushing things and/or have under-qualified staff. My order is a Cactus Grey 4dr Badlands 2.3 manual Mid. I definitely recommend calling Ford and talking to their Bronco specialist if you have any questions. They were very nice and helpful. Hope this helps anyone else wondering where there new Bronco is.
