Time Frame to Final Prep?

What has the time frame been from scheduled, to Built, to final prep?

Am I looking at a few weeks? A month? More?

My build by date varied but after mine was actually built it was shipped by train to a town 80 miles from here. My dealer pinged it for me and it sat there for almost 4 weeks before it arrived at my dealership. My town in MT has only one Ford dealer though. YMMV

The big wildcard is shipping. It can very from a week to a few months... and there really is no definitive way for us to know. You'd have to talk to your dealer and see what the typical shipping times from Michigan have been lately.

For me is was 2 weeks of production, followed by 5 weeks of shipping followed by ~24 hours for pre-delivery inspection.

Your production date could bounce around a few times, as mine did, but hopefully not in your case. Your window sticker will have the blend date, your place in line, and rotation for the builds for that date. From there, for me it took about 3 days for the modules to pop and signify it was built. 3 days after that it was shipped. From blend date to delivery it was 29 days. It spent 10 days in the railyard in San Antonio before my dealer was able to receive it

Unfortunately there is no way to know, almost everyone is different. Some get their build date pushed back 8 times, some go into production then sit for days, weeks, or months waiting for the 'built' status. Some get built then wait weeks for shipping. For me recently once I got a build date it never changed, and went from blend, production, built, shipped all within 4 days for an all options badlands. It's in Gary Indiana now head to PNW.

I just got mine 2 1/2 weeks ago and it took three weeks to get to me in NC. First by rail then a week later by truck to the dealership
