As of end of November broncos were 55,000 and 10,000 in November.. I have not seen the December numbers. This was a report from Ford that was linked here.

Well, so I remember by like October 2020, there had been like 190,000 reservations, and something like 125,000 (or 70% give or take) were converted to actual orders...

55,000 have been produced so far....does that really mean that 70,000 people are still waiting on their Bronco, (or 66% of orders have not yet been filled)?

I think that assumes that everyone that originally ordered actually did a re-order in October 2021 if they got pushed to 2022, and also you have some folks who '99'd their order waiting the mod top...

but I had gotten the impression most actual orders from the original 2020 reservations were getting close to being built, or at least had been scheduled, as you hear of some people who walked in, ordered, and got a build date just recently

They reported total new sales of 35,000 last year so (120-125,000 converted + 35,000 new) - 55,000 built = ~ 100-105,000 to produce - (January 22 production) + January new orders = Current Balance

For the above question on December orders I think they reported around 9,500.

Assuming new orders continue to come in around 10k per month and they produce 10k per month, backlog will remain at about 10 months. That doesn't necessarily mean it would take 10 months to get an order, it would just take 10 months to build that many units.

You also need to account for off-the-street orders which were included in those production/sales numbers. There is an ever growing (and disappointing) number of those happening, which jump the line and skew the production vs. reserved orders math. That is an unknown variable.

I did. That was the 35,000 new orders for the year. That would include any new order. Orders are orders and that wouldn't change the backlog. Obviously timeframe for a given order will vary greatly because customers orders are at the dealer level and not the Ford level. How many orders a dealer have an how many allocations they have. What is the balance, in other words. Order priority and time stamp are only in play in the selected dealers buckets of orders. IF buildable and dealer has allocation, they will are being built by time stamp.

a lot of the Broncos that have been built have gone to people who placed orders sense feb of 2021 .I bet not even half of the reservations from 2020 been built yet my dealer saying end of year for me maybe and I put in aug 23 2020 and I am guessing I be push to 2023
