I love my base model steel silver rims, but I was also really loving the 255/85R16 tall & skinny look.
What I found was a severe lack of available AT/non-MT options in a 255/85R16.
So, I bought a set of (5) Black Diamond steel factory rims ($491 with shipping included), had them painted silver ($400) & mounted 255/80R17E Toyo Trail RT tires on them. The rims came out a little more shiny than I would have liked, but hey, worse case scenario....re-paint them myself or just continue to let them get dirty. The Toyo Trail RT tires drive great! They feel lighter & are less squishy-feeling than the BFG K02s I was running. Any-who, this place is just a really bad influence for getting ideas to do stuff to my Bronco & I love it!!
