Hey Bronco6G friends,

With the New Year coming up, a lot of us are busy picking out gifts for family. At the same time, this is usually when many of us start rethinking our setups and planning the next year of trips, camping weekends, and trail time. That’s exactly why we wanted to share a quick update with the community.

The Broaddict TrailDeck Slide-Out Tailgate Drawer is now officially live on Amazon. What makes this special to us is that TrailDeck really grew out of this forum. Many of the ideas behind it came from conversations here, feedback from Bronco owners, and real-world use cases shared by you guys.

We designed TrailDeck to make the Bronco tailgate area more practical and family-friendly. Whether you’re loading up for a family camping trip, organizing gear for a weekend getaway, or packing tools and recovery gear for the trail, the goal was simple: make loading, unloading, and organizing easier and less tiring.

At the same time, we’d also like to give you a small preview of an upcoming accessory designed to work with TrailDeck: a Fold-Down Tailgate Table, currently planned to launch in March next year.

-1(2).webp

If you’re hoping to start the New Year as one of the first overland dads running a TrailDeck on your Bronco, we wanted to give you a heads-up.

On December 31 at 8:00 PM PDT, Amazon will be running a 12% New Year discount on the Broaddict TrailDeck.

Regular price: $799
Discounted price: $703 (discount runs for 3 days only)
Discount code: 7E7K5O9U

In addition, anyone who purchases TrailDeck during the promotion can email their Amazon order confirmation to [email protected] to receive a 50% off coupon for the upcoming fold-down tailgate table.

Inventory is limited, and once the promotion goes live things tend to move quickly. That’s why we wanted to share this early, so anyone who’s been considering TrailDeck doesn’t miss out simply due to stock running out.

If over the past year you’ve been busy buying gifts for everyone else and forgot to treat yourself, TrailDeck might be a solid upgrade for the year ahead. Or if you’re looking for a meaningful gift to thank the off-road-loving husband or dad in your life, this could be a good fit too.

If you have any questions about fitment, real-world use, load capability, or how TrailDeck might work with your current camping or overlanding setup, feel free to ask here or reach out to us at [email protected] .

We’re always happy to talk gear and learn from the Bronco community.

Thanks for being part of the journey,
Broaddict Team

Wow! Just commenting to give the thread and product a bump. I'm a two door guy and currently have a different solution, but I'll have to look long and hard at this if it comes out for the two door, with an appropriate discount.!!!

Got mine yesterday. Should have it in before UBB and will also be in the Tesche Tire exhibit at Overland Expo West this year in Flagstaff if anyone wants to check it out in person. I'll do an install video on my channel, but TBH, It's very simple. The biggest barrier is the weight of the product. Advise having a second person help lift it and place it in the vehicle. I'll respond back if the JCR tailgate table is compatible or not. If not, I'll probably be looking into the new table being release by Broaddict in the next couple of months.

It is heavy, but I got it up myself. Move the box close... remove the trunk trim and lift the back end of the slide onto the edge of the trunk edge. Just careful with the tailgate lock pin. Then just leverage it up....easy.

Just nitpicking…I wish the edge lined up with the handle for a smoother look

I installed it myself as well. Took a different approach though.

I extended the glides on each side until they locked and then picked up the deck/drawer. Slid the glides into the vehicle and dropped them into place. Then hit the release latches and slid the rest of the deck in. This allowed me to hold the weight of the deck while outside of the vehicle. Plus I did not want to mess up the trunk liner I had glued down to the cargo floor.

I agree.

The handle looks a bit out of place, plus it is the part that seems to be interfering with existing tailgate tables. I rarely use the handle as I typically release the latches and pull on the latches to slide out the deck.

This is a crude drawing, but something like this would look much better in my opinion. Keep it flush with the deck and still attaches at the same points.

Have you tried taking the handle off and putting it on the drawer instead, see if that solves your clearance issue?

I don’t have a tailgate table, so I don’t have clearance issues. I was just stating that if @BA OffRoad had designed a handle similar to what I drew it would allow some more clearance for other owners and would also look cleaner with the deck having a straight edge on the rear.

IMO they made a large rectangular cutout and then put an even larger, oddly shaped handle in it.

@4avor8ntfair @IwannaGOfast Thanks for the feedback and the drawing! We’ve passed your suggestion along to our design team to see if we can optimize the handle attachment points in a future update.

Thanks for the hype! We are just as excited to get the 2-door model out there.

We’ll be posting all production updates and pre-sale announcements in two places: the original 2-door survey thread and a brand-new dedicated thread so you won't miss it. We’re actually planning to drop a fresh progress update next week, so keep an eye out!

This. I have a Ford tailgate table and don't really want to lose it. In anticipation of the 2 door version I'm thinking of replacing this handle with a left over Bartec grab handle I have.

Got it installed today. No issues with my JCR tailgate table I bought 4 years ago, but it was close. Posting video soon.
