I remember this day. And then the feeling of reaching for the center in a non-Bronco and thinking "why aren't they in the center where they are supposed to be".

Was just contemplating this today when I got in for work on a warm Spring morn!

Open door, mount up, left foot clutch as door closes, release gear to neutral, hit start button, center console to roll windows down - a very fluid series that made me smile when I realized how natural it is now.

I still grad for the shifter off the steering wheel like in my f250. lol after 18 months lol I do still drive my 250 couple times a month so that may be messing me up

I still find myself pushing AC or radio power buttons to start a vehicle.

Same with my work truck except I put my left foot through the floor looking for the clutch.

Just yesterday, I tried turning on the windshield wipers in my wife's Subaru and turned her headlights off

I drive a mix so it takes a long time. The latest thing is when I remember to reach center, I've been rolling down the rear ones....

I have been training for the Bronco window switches for years. Here is the location of the switches on the Merkur Xr4Ti that I used to drive many many years ago:

Edit. That car had an independent rear axle, heated seats, the original 2.3 turbo and who could forgot the bi level spoiler. Truly ahead of its time and under appreciated. Sorry for the thread hijack

Had to drive my recently passed sister's 2013 Dodge Durango around to add 600 miles due to a DMV titling error they would not fix. Took me about 4 weeks as I don't drive a ton during the week working from home.

Now that I've sold it (last week), I'm back in the Bronco. Now I am a total mess when it comes to rolling the windows down and up.

I'm gonna solve the problem by taking the doors off tomorrow now that it's gonna be warm enough here.

Ah, yes that sweet spot between to cold and 180 degrees outside. It only gets up to about 170 degrees here, but I work nights and I don't want to give some hobo a place to sleep overnight, so no doors off for me.
