Interesting. I am going to be trying this "new" (ish) technology from Method for wheels. They've branded it "Bead Grip". https://www.methodracewheels.com/pages/bead-grip

My thoughts were that this could help with snapping lugs based upon the technology they are claiming.

It's going to be an expensive "fail" if it is more marketing than reality given the cost of the wheels, but I haven't found more than the usual complaints on the web so far (e.g., 50/50 split positive and negative reviews roughly because... let's face it... people go to the Internet to review stuff when angry. Enthusiasts review positively and negatively, but everyone else just goes to the "Inter-webs" for the negativity.)

On the positive side, I am going to be going for an antique bronze complementary color scheme with my Eruption Green Bronco (to be delivered soon), so, even if more marketing than reality, at least the color will be on par with what I'm going for.

Agreed. Far from a 37" tire, I am looking for ground clearance. Idk why they are small? I have found old comments/threads on numerous pages how small they were. And this was long ago. Cool tire, but too small for my build. I have always ran TSL SX's or Boggers. 17" tire sizes are odd anyway. I am use too 15" tire sizes. I am only going 17" due to the beadlock wheels.
Not sure how to feel now. IMO a tire should have to be at least 36.5 to be called a 37. On the plus side, I will have zero rubbing issues, my tie rods will be happier, and I can still brag about being on 37s. Cons, I only gain 2" of width and no height.

Those are pretty slick and I'm sure they work well. I went with squatchlocks purely due to cost and the offset is a bonus for keeping them tucked in as tight as possible.

So an interesting observation, even though my Trailites with 35" ATZs have a combined weight of almost exactly the same as the Sasquatch wheels/tires, Squatch feels much peppier and is delivering better mileage. I credit that to where the weight is carried. Now I kind of want to put the Goodyears on the Trailites and see how they feel.

Get ready for the disappointment. Lol! These bad boys are smaller than advertised and heavy as hell. I plan on selling mine soon. Never mounted brand new.
They came in and you're right unfortunately. About an inch taller than the Territories and as heavy as the complete Sasquatch wheel/tire combo. Not thrilled.

Are you still mounting them?

Couple months to think about mounting on wheels?
Yeah. I don't need it sorted out til May so I have time to think about it. Still waiting for my beadlock rings then I'll mount them myself.

Pros? Not going to have any rubbing issues. Cons? Not getting the extra clearance I was looking for.

@flip got me hooked up with a great price on beadlock rings and they're on the way. Leaning towards running these "37s".

I think it's a rare cop who would notice that, care about that, and write it up.
In my LE experience (city cop) , enforcing that would be an "attitude improvement add-on," that is, you write it if there's a reason to want to burn the violator. Like, he's mouthing off, a bit drunk, but not too drunk to arrest, things like that. Then you throw that onto the ticket.

State police are another matter. In my experience, they're more likely to write vehicle infractions.
