Code " BRONCO6G " did not work for me. I copy/pasted it over and nothing.

FBFAN worked for me too. Going to order one for my First Edition that "should" be here any day now.
Checking on it now.

Thanks for the heads up!

Thanks to CA for having to put those disclosures. What exactly would you like to know regarding the internals?
Ah, yes. Cali.

I guess I am curious on what the filter is made of and is it built to last. Thanks.

One last question for a catch can n00b. Why would anyone use a drain line kit if it's so easy to remove and empty? Is that just so you don't have to remove it and can drain it from under the vehicle?

I have been waiting for this product release. Just want to make sure I get the correct components.

If you were to detach and empty each time (every oil change?) - do you suggest backup o-rings?

Looking for the first mod for your new Bronco? A UPR catch can should be your first!

Take all the nastiness out of your PCV system. Easy to service too with UPR's Billet bracket technology and Plug N Play quick release factory style fittings. You can remove this kit to return the vehicle back to stock in just minutes if needed. With its extremely efficient compact design and incredible looks, they went the extra mile to ensure you get the best quality components. This setup can be fully disassembled or emptied and cleaned in seconds.

Can someone explain this warning to me? Why would this be illegal for street use?

" FOR CLOSED COURSE COMPETITION USE ONLY. NOT INTENDED FOR STREET USE. THE SALE, USE, OR INSTALLATION OF THIS PRODUCT MAY ALSO BE ILLEGAL NATIONWIDE UNDER THE FEDERAL CLEAN AIR ACT (42 U.S.C. § 7522(A)(3))"

Read above. I already asked that. California regulations.

For anyone else that grew up without a dad to show them the why/how things work on vehicles:

Here's a great video on why you may want to add an oil catch can, how oil catch cans work, and how Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Systems are designed to work.

Article, by Ford Muscle, reviewing UPR Oil Catch Can:

https://www.fordmuscle.com/tech-stories/engine/we-put-the-upr-focus-rs-catch-can-to-the-test/

Additional article and video, by Lethal Performance, explaining the use of UPR Oil Catch Can:

https://www.lethalperformance.com/info/uprcatchcan/
Newbie question: how often (miles?) do you typically need to drain the catch can? And assuming you replace filters / baffles in it regularly as well?

Information on the methodology and materials used for filtering, vapor savaging and isolated containment should be mandatory for all catch cans advertised.

There are a number of filtering mediums in common usage and while they all have a reason to exist, some are better than others in application.

In addition: The magnetic drain plug or remote drain kit should also have the bare minimum of info. What type of magnet, are you using a petcock valve? What materials is the valve made of?

This product being on the extreme high end of pricing for catch cans, they should have actual information on their unit. rather than "we're pretty cool and make a ton of catch cans, trust us!"

To wit, Webasto makes a ton of vehicle tops. How's that going right now?

If you force me to make assumptions about your product, I assume you cut corners and it's not worth my money.

If anyone wants to see pictures of the 2.7L kit contents and installation instructions, they are posted in another thread, refer to the thread started back in Sept, link below. Looks to be about a 10 min easy install, kit appears to be well made. If anyone wants other pictures of the kit, please ask in below thread link

https://www.bronco6g.com/forum/threads/2-7-upr-oil-catch-can.23608/

Ordered the 2.7 catch can and blow-off valve directly from UPR about 1.5 months ago for the 2.7, plan is to install same day as delivery. Build week was delayed from 10/4 to 10/25, WS blend date was yesterday, according to the 10/25 build week group they are running about 1.5 days behind in production. Will be updating the thread I started after it's installed, hopefully towards by mid Nov.
