Has anyone purchased any of these kits and installed them on their Bronco? I have an EG BD 4-door and I am having a hard time deciding. I was all set on the retro stripes based on the limited pics I’ve seen but wondering if the geometric or map kits might look better on EG. Would love to see pics.

I’m really very shocked more haven’t gotten these. They’re very high quality and fit perfect.
The hood decal is a bitch and a half though. You have to cut the back to peel it and align it correctly and of course right in the middle of that cut the paper didn’t come up and I had to pull the kit up twice to fix that so more bubbles in it than I would’ve liked plus it’s a hell of a reach to install it.
Sides much easier of course.

I’m super happy with how transformed my Shadow Black OBXSquatch before and after attached.
Word of caution if you haven’t done many stripes or clear bras pay someone to install it.
I’ve done lots of vehicles through the years and it took me 2.5 hours to install it.
Totally worth the dough.

I ended up going with the retro stripe kit. I paid to have it installed as I’ve never done it before. Love how it turned out.

Bumping this old thread because it relates specifically to the Visco retro stripe kit on the Ford Accessories site. (Should be easier for someone else thinking about this specific kit to search for.)

My weekend project was installing the stripes from this kit. I was open to also installing the hood graphic as well, but in the end decided that the side stripes alone were enough for me. This was my first experience installing vinyl graphics. Start to finish took me about 7 hours across two days. (The number one tip from all of the videos and instructions I found online was "take your time and go slow", so I did.) I cleaned and prepped each section carefully before starting and used the "tape hinge" method shown on UG's install videos. However, the technique that helped me the most to position the stripes and eliminate bubbles/wrinkles was to use much more of the soapy water spray solution when laying down the stripes than any of the videos demonstrated. (Water in a spray bottle with 8-10 drops of Dawn dish soap.) Maybe pros can do graphics installs dry (as UG shows), but I definitely wouldn't recommend anyone else try it that way.

I'm very happy with how it turned out. A pro installer would no doubt have done this much faster. Like UG's kits, the Visco kit uses 3M film that is easy to work with. My advice for beginners is to be honest with yourself about your patience level and attention to detail. If you have a steady hand and a good eye for straight lines, you can do this if you plan it out and take your time. Don't try to do the install if you can't devote a full day's time to the process. And don't under any circumstances try to do this in your driveway.

Here are a few pics showing the stripes taped into place first, and then the final result. There were no instructions for placement of the stripes, so I placed the "Bronco" script with the "o" over the wheel centerline on the passenger side and marked the end point with tape. Then I placed the driver's side end point at the same starting location.

Passenger side installed:

All done! I also removed the matte black Bronco scripts I had placed on the fender months ago. One big Bronco script per side is plenty IMO. I like the cleaner look on the front fender with no logos or other badges.

Thanks for looking! I hope this was helpful for anyone considering this kit and DIY.
