Yeah I was wondering the same thing. My outer banks only has one as well. When I was doing the hitch wiring I thought it was kind of strange, looks strange I suppose. It’s suppose to come that way from the factory I believe.

Too bad it's not like comic books or coins, where a mistake makes it more valuable.
In all seriousness, Ford gives you a limited time (I was told 90 days) to report a mis-build, and after that it's on the customer to correct. So def don't wait on that.
I ordered mine with dual tops. Took delivery in January and the hard top was pre-installed. When the weather warmed up in early May, I swapped tops and realized I was missing some pieces to complete the swap. It had been over 90 days, which resulted in a battle between FoMoCo and my dealer over who was responsible. Ford said this was part of the inspection dealers do when they receive the vehicle, so the dealer should have realized it was missing parts. The dealer said it was Ford's fault for not shipping the parts and my fault for not noticing sooner.
In the end, I convinced the dealer to cover the cost of the parts, but it was less than $50 at their cost. If it had been something significant, I doubt they would have been so generous. But then again, if it had been as significant as a door trim mismatch, I would have noticed sooner.

I would keep it the way it is..just like the one that they missed painting the inside tailgate...these are 1 offs....who knows. It could turn out like a misprint coin and be worth a little extra in future. If not it's atleast a conversation piece
