Didn't seem too hard for best top to get it correct.

Except the Bestop only flips back and doesn't open all the way. The back window also doesn't raise up which is the reason for the wavy windows everyone is always hating on.

Assuming you ordered from Bestop and that they had them in stock, how long did it take for Bestop to ship? At the time I ordered, they had 7 two door twill tops. It's been over a week and still hasn't moved out of "awaiting fulfillment".

Were you able to decipher the difference in color between black twill and black diamond?

I haven't seen one of the Bronco Bestops in either, but I have owned both in Jeep tops. At least with the Jeep, it's mostly a material/texture difference. The twill has a bit more texture to it and appeared as a slightly higher contrast black.

Yes, it doesn’t fold all the way down, but advantage is u can see out the back window, and you still get same volume of sunshine.

You know you can do that with the OEM soft top, too, right? I keep reading this thing about how “you can see out the back” with the Bestop, as if that’s not possible with Ford top. There’s nothing the Bestop can do that the Ford top can’t, but the Ford top does things the Bestop definitely can’t. But you got flat windows.

Right, but you were saying that not folding all the way back was an “advantage”. If they had designed it to go all the way back like the OEM 4-door soft top, presumably there still would have been an intermediate setting (“safari top style”), so you could have it either way. Point being, the 4-door Bestop guys say the same thing about the “visibility advantage”…

(And for the record, I think the 2-door Bestop looks better than the 4-door version, and since you can’t get a Ford top, I can totally understand going with Bestop…)

Ok point taken. But I still think people shouldn’t sheet on this roof merely because it doesn’t lay down behind the rear safety bar. If bestop does design it to do that I’d bet it’d lose much of the fastback look, which IMHO is pretty awesome.
