What's everyone's dealer communication like after scheduling?

My dealer has one guy in charge of the broncos. He’s been great so far. He sends updates as things happen and he’s good at responding quickly and honestly when I do ask him questions. I ordered in 2021, then again in 2022. Each time he has been easy to deal with, and provides adequate information and prompt responses. My tracker is currently stuck “in production” but he confirmed that my bronco was built on 3/15. As I stated in another post, his responses are only as good as the information that Ford provides so even though he couldn’t tell me what I’d like to hear (that my bronco is on the way to the dealership 😜), he gave me all the information that he had.

Zero Comms since putting my order in. Nothing until the day it was delivered to the delership. I thought they were going to sell it out from under me, so I tracked it and was at the dealership before it arrived. Turns out, they just suck at communication.

They ended up honoring Msrp, after Mike Levine stepped in, gave me my private offer up front. Were nice enough, once the vehicle was on the lot. Before that, they treated me like crap. Told me I was a worthless customer.

Do you mean like me bugging the hell out of them every other day, and the. Telling them when it shipped, when the train departed and arrived, etc.

The only outgoing communication was it’s here come get it.

My dealer told me they wouldn't contact me again until the car was unloaded off the train, and that it would take a couple days to get from the city to the suburb.

I agree with you. I didn’t expect to have my hand held after ordering. Let the chips fall where they may. I’m not the only customer they have.

No beating around the bush, or licking around the ….
If that works for you, all power to you. I'd personally like some more communication when it comes to things like price protection/private offer, estimated delivery time once built based on prior orders, etc. I wouldn't call it hand holding as much as proper customer service for a $40k+ purchase.

Hell, if my $50 steak at a restaurant is taking long I appreciate the waitress stopping by and letting me know lol.

From the time it was scheduled until it showed up, the only communication I got from the dealer was a text with a photo of it saying it was there. My dealer was clueless pretty much the entire time.

I had to call my dealer and tell him it arrived.
My salesperson had no idea what the 2023 order rollover process was, thought it was automatic/just a verbal confirmation. I probably saved quite a few bronco orders for them by sending links to this forum and walking them through it with my order.

But the waitress is informed with what's going on or can easily ask hey what's going on.....the dealer has no clue what's going on .the manufacturer (ford) does not communicate with the dealers....the shipping carriers don't communicate the dealer... we on b6g know way more than the dealers do about our builds and tracking from the manufacturer unfortunately.
