Well, to be fair, all small utility vehicles used to be called "jeeps" and had nothing to do with the Jeep brand we know today. Probably wasn't the insult it may be today.

The pickup lady at target got confused since I put Ford down as the vehicle brand. She said “Oh I was confused since you said you were in a Ford on the app , but you clearly have a Jeep Bronco”.

I have to admit.... I saw a 4 door black bronco in the parking lot and I thought it was a wrangler until I got close to it. Never confused a 2 door though lol

I’m a current Jeep owner waiting for my Bronco and have owned multiple Jeeps for many years and once in a while I catch myself saying something like “ugh my Jeep… I mean Bronco, is still in production”. I’m just so use to calling what I drive a Jeep it’s a hard habit to break. I’ve even called my GFs BMW M3 a Jeep occasionally. Doesn’t matter what vehicle it is, it always slips out lol
