I agree, I looked at the ticket prices.. WOW. Never knew this was a real thing in Fla..I've conveyed my own experience, but it isn't pertinent to Florida's Skunk Ape.

I did encounter a vocalization approx. 15 years ago at my house in St. Johns county. My property is in the "country" and abuts up to conservation land - miles of undeveloped woodlands. When you are used to "normal" howls and shrieks, the anomaly is distinctive and isn't even forgotten. This was one that raised the hair on the back of the neck. It was similar to this howl, but with a higher/forceful shriek.
