I have a bit of squat going on. +300-500lbs minimum rated springs would be ideal

I'm in the same boat! A Dometic fridge, battery, dual ARB, and recovery gear add some weight - not to mention the American Adventure Labs setup. I'll be adding a roof rack and rotopaks later.

Watching this.
also how about the RPG lift kit adding more “spring tension” for the lift

would that help the extra weight by pushing back up kinda like a stronger spring ??? 🤷‍♂️

Sounds legit. However, my logical thing process lead me to believe the range of motion in spring compression would be drastically limited.

The RPG's are great for unloaded springs as a leveler but under constant load and needing to take some bumps. I think upgraded springs are needed IMHO.

This is what I did for now and it solved the problem. I am running rpg 1.5 rear only, factory rake is restored when unloaded, leveled out when loaded, and handling has been improved since it was squatted. I’ve been on 6 moderate trails since and experienced no issues with spacers.

with that said Ifeel like the spacers are a bandaid and would still want proper springs, but this will hold me over for now

I had similar concerns. What I found is not all the coils in the springs will make contact on full compression, so this makes up for the super soft progressive coils that sag easily when weight is applied. I’m running 1.5” perch which bring the overall height gain 1.5”, it is not a 1.5” spacer.

Collars changes spring preload only not spring rate. A higher spring rate increases ride height and increases spring forces throughout the travel. So yeah collars are better for minor cosmetic changes and stiffer springs are for consistently higher vehicle weight.

I have the same issue now after 3000km. All raptors hate load I had to put HD +4 on the f150 raptor. Do the arb ones fit? Eibach have a 1.5 inch performance lift that might just do it but no mention on extra weight. Would the fact the lift is there be enough to compensate?

Hyperco has a set of rear springs that are coming for those asking this question. IMO hyperco makes some of the best springs out there. Their HD Rear Spring provides +1.5" lift with ~250lbs +50lbs/in in the main rate.

Check Dobinson - I just stupidly put in the front springs in my 2D and it wound up being waaaaaaaay overkill so now I have to pay to take them out. They're rated to 610lbs/inch - which is nuts.

Hyperco are now in stock ordered mine today. Prompt response and international shipping. Went with 2 inch heavy duty for AAL flip and slide dometic fridge couple of packouts and a delta 2 max battery plus the rotopax on the side, arb, blah bblah blah. Hope it does the job. This squat is unpleasant.
