will Baja 40" S8 fit this roof mount?

Anyone know if the roof mount from M&R (made for their slim light bar) will work for the Baja Designs S8 40"? It looks to me like it would? If anyone has this mount or the M&R set up, could you measure?

You have to buy the light bar that the mount was designed for. No 2 light bars are exactly the same width. The Baja Designs kit is also a 50" S8 not a 40" S8.

Your big issue is going to be the curve of the windshield. It'll hit the cooling fins of the lightbar at the highest point if your mount isn't the right dimensions.

I'm playing this same game right now.. Trying to find (so I don't have to build) a decent mount so I can get my 40" Rigid ADAPT installed over the windshield. Rigid doesn't make one yet, and my lightbar hits the window frame with the factory mounts.

Hey, did you resolve the light bar issue? I installed a Rigid 40" curved and used the Bodyguard mounting brackets. How is the wind n whistle with your bar?

This is how I ultimately mounted a lightbar. Rigid Adapt 40" With QuakeLED mounting brackets.

Absolutely zero whistle or wind noise with windows down or up.
