Oct.2022. 22B27. Front drive shaft Replacement.

July 2023 23C16. Seat Belt Replacement

Oct.2023 23S48. Rear Camera Replacement

Dec. 2023 23B35. Windsheild Wiper Software update

Jan 2025 25S01 Rear Shock Absorber replacement

July 03 2025. Infotainment Screen Software Up date (pending)

July 1`1 2025. Engine Valve Inspection ( pending )

July 30 2025. Possible Fuel Pump failure ( pending )

Also had my window control module replaced 3 times. I bought a trailer break controller from Ford and they never got it working properly. I sold my Nissan Titan truck for this Bronco. Never once a recall from 2004. To 2021. Must admit it still looks good sitting in the driveway. Just afraid to take it on a long trip out of town. Bought a 3yr extended warranty for the vehicle and will probably add the drivetrain/engine warranty when my 5yrs is up next year. Every one else Happy?

Not trying to defend Ford at all here, but I’m willing to bet the large majority of people effect by these have never even actually experienced a single issue with them to begin with. If your afraid to drive it, I would just sell it. Life’s too short to constantly worry about these things.

They’re perfectly fine. 2.7 OBX is what I have and I’ve taken plenty of 8-12 hour road trips. Only recall that sucks is the rear shocks but that isn’t even Ford’s fault. Everything else is just stupid little things
I’d rather recalls than a 10yr/100k mile warranty like certain manufacturers. There’s a reason they have them. Ford is at least being accountable

Nailed it. Wipers worked, camera works, windshield didn’t leak, shocks are fine, no idea if the fuel pump will die. 2.3 so no valve issue( changed my order during the exploding valve motor saga). So far so good.

Why buy a 1st gen vehicle and then complain about recalls? I've seen this across several other car/truck forums over the years. These vehicles are the guinea pigs. How do so many people not realize this?

I think it was summed up nicely by someone in another recall thread-"Every brand has problems. But you can look at it in a positive way that Ford is issuing these recalls and trying to find a solution for their customers rather than keeping quiet for as long as possible until forced to do one."

Something like that.

No it will never end. Few things standing in the way. Vehicles are man made so it’s not if but when it will break. Bean counters, environmental reasons such as materials and pressure from outside sources. Lastly, manufacturers just don’t want products to last.

I have two recalls on my '23 OBX. One for the rear camera and the other for the rear shocks. I'm not have any issues with the camera and as far as I can see, the shocks are fine as well. I don't plan to have either of these addressed any time soon, especially since they will not be replacing the shocks, only doing some half assed patch job. Other than having to reset a rear window, everything has be perfect.

But let’s not forget. Popsicle sticks, silicone and rubber boots will fix some serious recalls.

I'm taking mine in on Tuesday for the shocks fix, I think my dealer finally got his shipment of popsicle sticks, silicone and rubber boots...don't forget the hose clamps.

Knocking on wood, my ‘24 Everglades has not been affected by any recalls yet.
nothing has broken or not working as it should.
Since I replaced my shocks/struts when it was new that won’t be effecting me either.
But come on Ford, this is stupid, I’m not sure what’s going on over there but make better choices.

Another way to look at this is that Ford is not just looking ahead. They're ensuring that the products they've sold are being supported and improved. A poor experience is if the OEM ignores the current owners. Ford is recognizing that their processes need improvement and a recall is taking actions to support that.

It's proven you can survive a broken tie rod with a couple pairs of vise grips and a chunk of angle iron...
