Window clips broke

For anyone out there that may have broke the male end of the plastic clip sewn in their windows. Local ford dealer was going to order new windows since they are stitched on. However, new replacement clips from Ford are slotted. You can simply cut the broke clips off with wire cutters and slide the new clip into the fabric using the slotted center. Don’t cut the fabric, cut the broke plastic clip. Change takes 20 seconds. Someone else may have already posted this and I missed it. Ford dealer was unaware of the new clip change.
