So I went to go to the store this morning and my garaged broncos back window was blown out. Has anyone seen anything like? I don't even know if this would be something warranty would fix, it's Sunday so I can't call. It looks like it blew outward.

No flipping idea. There is no stress on the window. It doesn’t even have a latch.

Possible it took a hit a day or so earlier? Perhaps a stress crack you didn’t notice and the temperature changes and…..POP. .

Rodents? Knocking some item off a shelf or up in the rafters down and hitting the glass?

Million to one kind of things, I know. But just can’t even imagine a situation where the Bronco is just parked indoors overnight and the window shatters.

If it literally just did this on it’s own it’s certainly a manufacturing defect. But I can assure you that you will NEVER convince a dealership of this.

It blew out from the inside, only had it 3 weeks. There's nothing above it in the garage or even close.

Probably a stress crack and some pressure somewhere that eventually deformed the glass, shattering it outwards. Definitely should be a warranty request; make sure and take lots of pictures, maybe @ their rep on here. Could've just been a bad install originally, or a defect in the glass itself.

Incidentally, my neighbor's F-150 did this very thing the other day.

Aren’t you the guy who was getting rescued in the snow and hotdogged it through the ditch?

That is a 1st! Never seen this before. It should be a warranty item IMO.

This happened to another forum member, I don't recall who though.
I think it ended up being an issue with the glass from the factory.
