Hi all - I received a window sticker in May and my Bronco was moved into built status on June 2nd. I had a window sticker that showed a NO CHARGE for leather and which had my blend date and everything on it.

I just checked window sticker again today and it has completely changed. There is no blend date on it anymore and the invoice date at the bottom had moved a month forward. There is also now a leather charge on the sticker whereas before it was a NO CHARGE. Any insight as to why the sticker would change and be missing that blend date number?

thanks in advance for any input.

Do you still have the previous one? You can try to bring it in to the dealership. I guess price protection isn't part of the order scenario? Maybe a mid-year "adjustment"?

Yeah I have the previous one and until today we have been going off that price with the no charge on leather. I don’t understand how a window sticker can change after my bronco was built almost a month ago..

Stick to your guns on referring to that window sticker, hopefully you can convince them to give that price to you (or less...).

You should have price protection on a special order. Now you say "window sticker", is this the actual Maroney label or a build sheet from the dealership. Most of the time the window sticker never changes and should have the VIN # on both of them.

I got $20 that the base price on the window sticker that had "No Charge" was $2195 more expensive than the new window sticker.
Here are the 2 stickers for comparison sake. These are Canadian prices. I am baffled by why the sticker would change

Good guess, but doesn't seem like it. Same base; MSPR is just higher.

I'm not sure how binding the Window sticker is. What does your DORA say?

OHHHHHHH.... Canada.

That's a very important detail. I should have just checked your profile—British Columbia would have been a dead giveaway.

Yes Canadian prices increased. Your invoice date got pushed which means your base price changed, which means your vehicle is now invoiced after the price increases.

You'll be locked to the price you agreed upon with your dealer when you placed the order.
Interesting although I was put into built status on June 2nd and this new window sticker is as of June 21st. Is that tracker just completely wrong? And am I just SOL with the leather no charge? I was forced to change order to leather so thought that was where the no charge came from..

Thanks for the knowledge!

You are not getting free leather. The old sticker was a line item charge. The new sticker has it built into the base price. Either way you pay for leather.

Sorry, the new sticker is the one that has the higher price that I posted above. Both sticker base prices are the same ($57,040) - old sticker shows leather as NO CHARGE and new sticker shows the charge. Just confused with why my sticker even changed seeing as my status is built waiting for shipment as of June 2nd..

The website tracker tends to break when your vehicle gets rescheduled (or anything changes in the production timeline). It's just extremely buggy and all-around inaccurate.

You are price protected to the price of the vehicle when you placed the order. The window sticker reflects the current MSRP of the vehicle at the time the vehicle is invoiced at the factory, which is not necessarily the price you pay. The reason why Ford does this is just in case you do not actually buy the vehicle. If you pass on the vehicle when it arrives, the customer that comes after you to buy the vehicle will be faced with whatever the MSRP was at the time of invoice.

I have an entire post on how it all works here, but it only has United States pricing. I used to be able to pull Canadian pricing, but unfortunately my primary Ford contact for this sort of stuff was laid off last August... so I no longer get specifics around Canadian pricing. (Only reason why I happened to know about the most recent price increases is because I occasionally watch the YouTube channel Johnny's car care & reviews... and he is based in in Canada.)
Thanks man. I am getting CDN $3500 in price protection credit but was also hoping that no charge for leather came to fruition which was on my initial window sticker...

The dealer even acknowledged the no charge and said I would get that lower price but now with this new sticker, I have no idea.

I've always thought that the window sticker will reflect pricing based on the day it was built. So it could change from when you pulled it before.

This price is window sticker shock to me. My 22 bronco including the 2.7 motor with everything else being the same on your sticker was $53,000. That is how much they have raised prices- almost $10,000 for the same bronco.

Remember, these are Canadian dollars. It is a little shocking when you first look at it, my first thought was good lord it's more than my '23 WT HT Lux, then I saw he was from Canada.
