Wonder if the changed it to 6 months because they are behind, and the time constraint was mostly to push their availability into MY22.

It was 7 months originally. There's a blurb on FMCDealer stating they're changing it, no real good explanation as to why, but your guess is a good one. And I'm assuming whatever accessories they'll send us we'll know when we get it.

My understanding is that it's entirely up to the dealer what they want to do with them... anything from sitting in the showroom with the doors locked all the way to being unitized as a service loaner.

The assumption being that there's no reason to keep a restriction on selling a MY21 demo unit after they've moved on to MY22 production, reducing that timeframe makes sense.
