I used this for a few weeks to really give a proper review. There are so many videos out there and unboxing/install guides on this already. Although, I will point out how EASY this is to install. The "hard-wire" kit makes it so easy to tap into your fusebox. No cutting or splicing at all. I even removed the stock Bronco mirror and the supplied bracket just let me slide this on

This is my daily usage review of it
First off - the quality of the screen is so good that it was very distracting in the beginning. Almost like I had a movie playing....LOL. It has really great brightness & exposure settings so once you fine tune it, you'll be good
It records on ALL screens at all times and will AUTO-lock if there is an incident - so you have a capture of the video/pic at that very moment. Unlike other systems that just mindlessly erase/record on a loop, you can select how these functions operate. Very cool!!
Night time detail. That's my spare tire at the bottom of the picture. While this is an exterior cam, I chose to install the rear camera inside. No lens cleaning required and I pretty much always have a clear view - when the rear window gets dirty I just turn on the wiper and tadah!!! #clarity.
What is also really amazing and SUPER USEFUL with this system is the "voice commands." They make using it safe and not adding anther distraction or "button to press" inside the vehicle. I can toggle between the front camera and rear camera with ease and turn on/off the system if need be. All verbally. It's so useful and very intuitive. I took this shot below when a killer sunset came up....I just said "take picture".
Here's another shot that emphasizes how good the quality of the picture is. You can also zoom-in/zoom-out and pan the camera up/down to adjust viewing angle. It takes a little time to set actual distance and my depth perception of things. The adjustments are fantastic and make the whole driving experience safer!
Even in very very low light the camera does a very good job of using the light around it to sharpen the image. Here are some shots in TOTAL darkness in the desert. No streetlights and only headlights of other vehicles.
I was returning from my Mountain Bike ride in the desert and was slowly coming back into town and some light traffic. This shot below just shows how good the camera adjusts to changing conditions.
All in all - I will say that it is completely worth the money. One of the very few things that delivers when it come to $$$ = promised tech. Talk about how things progressed from 3 years ago....There is currently no other dashcam on the market that is this good!!!
