When I took delivery of my '23 BL, I did not notice that the passenger side front headrest had blue piping on it which appeared to come from a different trim model than the BL. When I noticed it a few months later, I took it back to the dealer and they replaced it with one from another Bronco (I did not see what trim level the other Bronco was) that had the orange piping like the BL does. When I finally got around to installing it, I noticed it slopes much further forward than the one on the driver side. I do not believe the '24MY was out already so I am assuming it came from a '23 BL.

Anyone else have a wonky headrest that leans well forward than the other one ? Are there differences in the headrest between a 2dr and 4dr ? Is it possible that is the problem ?

You should be able to just pull it forward towards the front of the Bronco, and it'll release to the upright position. If it doesn't do that, you've probably got a bad headrest that they should replace (again) for you.

Do all trim level headrests do that? I have a big bend and the drivers side is tilted farther forward than the passenger side. I tried to do the tilt trick but no go.

I believe it is only the ones that come with the Lux package.

My Everglades (mid package only available) was deemed not worthy of such basics by ford.

Unless its changed, only the leather ones do it.

I have the MGV in my Badlands and changed mine with the leather option headrest for adjustability.

Huh. If true, that’s lame. I‘ve got the Lux package in my Badlands, but my 2018 F-150 XLT had the same adjustment feature. I just assumed it was a Ford thing.

I've pulled drivers headrest out of every vehicle I've owned since 1969. They bug me.
