I have been watching for any remote start developments as well!
Worst case scenario, I was going to see if there is a "neutral" switch in the transmission or somehow set one up. That way it reduces the risk as it will only turn on or start when in "neutral".

If there is an off the shelf version, totally in!.

I've got a spare 933 fob and transceiver sitting here waiting to install. I haven't torn into it yet to see where exactly it goes. I ordered it just for the off chance it would work.

Not having remote start when you have no less than 2 safeties available to ensure its not in gear and the brake is set just seems ridiculous to me.

I ordered an RTM from Ford parts for the 902 mhz version. Also ordered the remote start Bronco key fob from the same parts.ford.com website. Cost a total of $105. The RTM is located on the roll bar cross member behind the overhead lamp. I programmed the remote first and then replaced the RTM. Programmed in forscan with the as built data and it worked as a key fob. Remote start is still a work in progress.

Following! I hope you get it figured out and do a write up. Its the last feature I want that wasn't available.

I watched the video, I wonder if it would make any difference having the clutch depressed. Just a shot in the dark but may help eliminate potential issues.

As mentioned earlier, did pressing the clutch pedal allow the remote start to operate?

No. Pressing the clutch did not make this work. It is a combination of having the telematics control module for a automatic plus a bunch of little work around to get it to work. This is dangerous so a working solution will not be published. For those wanting to experiment with the settings, drop me a pm.

I Installed Ford's perimeter plus module in my 2022 manual transmission Badlands. The installation instructions have references to manual start capabilities that I haven't looked into further. Maybe remote start with a new key fob and some forscan changes?? I don't think Fordpass phone app would add the remote start "button" since the app is probably linked to as built VIN#.

After you changed the RTM, how did you add the new key fobs(s)?
Did you have to reconfigure/reset TPMS modules?
