Hey guys, we have our HOSS 3.0 spring collars ready to go. We just put them up on the web site and have some stock ready to go. Raw aluminum are ready to ship and Black anodize are still a week or so out as of now. we have a full offering from 1", 1.5", 2", and 2.5" for both front and back so you have the ultimate flexibility.

I don't have HOSS 3.0 but asking out of curiosity. Is it necessary to remove/undo the strut assembly for installation, or can you just compress the spring in place and add the collar below, since it's in two pieces?

Is a similar kit available for the regular SAS suspension on an OBX?

EDIT:
Answered my own question

And probably not doable for the SAS Bilstein, since the lower spring seat isn't exposed as it is in the HOSS 3.0 struts.

I think you have to disassemble for install. I haven’t heard of anyone or installers doing it with the strut assembly still installed.

Yes you have to remove the shock completely to get the spring compressed enough to get the spacer in. we do make a 1" and 1.5" for the bilstein squatch package too. its a little different due to how the spring lower plate design is.

you will find them all here. look for front and rear separately for those

I'm super excited for some more HOSS 3.0 products to come out!!!

I was hoping you were going to be cheaper than the over priced RPG ones ($478-$558)... Not trying to be totally negative, but I was pumped to see some reasonable prices now that there is some competition. I wish you luck and will have to keep waiting.....

Seems these are $499+ :(

From your website
  • Designed by a Team of Suspension System Specialists: We put in the hours and hard work to construct a proper under spring spacer that mounts to the shock body under the spring perch so it can add extra preload to the stock spring.
Does this make the ride a lot stiffer?

We have test driven with the tallest lift versions and its very difficult to notice any difference even with the tallest option. it may be a tiny bit stiffer with the tallest ones. the 1" and 1.5" you couldn't tell any difference at all.

@GregFoutz Would a 2” Front 1” rear allow 37’s to fit nicely and level out the vehicle? How high before you need new UCA’s on the HOSS 3.0?

yes that should work. Im not sure on how high, we tested all of ours with our billet upper control arms and didnt go back to the stock upper arms so not sure on that one.
