Overland 2-Door Badlands Sasquatch Build | Major Tom

This is it! This is the beginning of my build! Meet Major Tom, a 2-door Badlands Sasquatch in Antimatter Blue that I am working to turn into a micro-overlander. With a Go Fast Campers Superlite Rooftop Tent, Heretic Studio Lights, 67Designs Bronco Rail, seat delete with DIY platform, Dometic Fridge and Slide, and Goal Zero Yeti 1500X with the Yeti Link Car Kit.

I'm so excited for these small beginnings and where this thing will take me!

you mentioned you have it for a year, what will happen after that? will you continue with a Bronco or go with something else?

It’s still a little unclear what will happen at the year mark. I want an answer to that as much as anybody.

I'll be doing a roll out cooler too on the right hand side, and a roll out platform on the left side for easy access to other gear.

Talk to me about the Yeti Link car kit - is it better than just plugging into the 12v? (I mean, it must be...)

Yeah! It doesn’t have a limited draw. It’s designed similar to a dual battery but without all the hassle, and easily removable. I’ll put together a video with more details on it, it has to be one of my number one asked questions since posting this.

did you get your GFC before the bronco? those things are way backordered. Looks great!!

I'm so glad you're going with the 2dr @justinbmcbride because I'm curious of all the size solutions you come up with. I have the Bronco Rail in order and should arrive in a month and like you, would probably have the TrailRax too but this is really good, very much in line with the idea of a "microlander".

Awesome! Please keep giving an ongoing update on the GFC superlite RTT/how it works with the factory crossbars and MIC. I have one and plan on mounting it when I get my 2DR. Yours is the first I have seen with it on top of the 2DR and it looks awesome even with the minor overhangs. I ran it this past season on my Tacoma and Hiker trailer and love it. I look forward to more from you, thanks!

Great video and I really like your upgrades. You've given me some ideas that I will use when my Bronco comes in (2022 Badlands Sasquatch 4dr Eruption Green). Appreciate what you've done!
