That is what I thought as well,plenty of things it needs to see before it will activate. No high temps in Seattle to worry about.On hot days mine gives an alert that ASS has been disabled due to outside temperature. The A/C doesn't shut off. I'm in Phoenix.
Also if I'm in a stop/start situation, I just turn off ASS. I sometimes turn it off when in a parking lot. I leave it on for "normal" traffic.
I had originally planned to use Forscan to turn off ASS. I've changed my mind.
