I opened one of the boxes. I’ll get a picture up when I can. If there are relays they are small. Low amps.

Yeah, I think an in-line fuse at the power source will be more than enough. What gauge wire is that power main, 12g?

Thanks for cracking this open, much appreciated.

I'm not a good gauge at determining wire gauge, I'm guessing it's 14g.

Changes I would make:
  • The fuse as discussed.
  • The boxes are not waterproof. I may try to find a way to seal them somewhat. I'll need to mount them pretty high as I do go through real water at times.
  • The quick terminal blocks are a nice to have but I'll also be making waterproof joins.

Hello, are the circuits fused and protected? Do they need to be?

Reason I ask is that most lighting accessories, including your amber grille lights, come with a fuse box tap for power.

Thanks!
Yes.

Question - does the power connection have to be hooked up on the passenger headlight harness? I'm just planning on hooking up the AVS lightshield first - and only need to hook up to signal wire for left turn signal. Would prefer using this product on both sides anyway so I don't splice directly into the OEM headlight harness.
Sorry, we don't test it and you need to remove the whole headlight to get access to signal wire.

Put these in my ‘23 Raptor over the weekend in advance of adding some accessory lights with Halos- I intend for the Halos to come on with the marker lights.

install is straightforward once you pull enough fender liner fasteners to get behind it on the driver side. Passenger side is accessible via the engine bay.

works like a charm!

Thanks for the update! Did you add a fuse or seal/waterproof the connections in any way?
