A good friend posted this morning. I don't have all the details, but if Livernois is involved it should be good.

Over a year in development … the 5.0 Coyote V8 swap Gen 6 Bronco is now available through Badass Broncos! Engineered by Livernois Motorsports & Engineering with all stock functionality left intact. Dash, driver modes, A/C, and emissions (pending) are all retained. Available now …

It's taken so long that I really thought that this was never going to happen, getting a coyote to work with the rest of the Bronco computers.
I'm impressed (but still very much satisfied with my 2.3L 7MT)

I think it helped that HPT / others just cracked the ECMS.

I don't think it will be that high depends on labor cost on top of the kit. Last I checked Coyote crates new (Gen 4) are around 16k for just the engine, but you could source it used easily depending on what year might be required, big differences between Gen2, Gen3, Gen4, pic shows a Gen3.

I'm in no rush. My 2.3's perfectly match the way I drive my Broncos. If I want to go fast, I drive my Hyundai i30 N-Line 6-speed hatchback.
This is not to say the 300hp 2.3L is a slouch......it isn't. But with the 4.70 axle ratio, it can do anything with the 2.3L.
I don't yet have any thoughts on the new 2.3L combined port injection/direct injection powerplant. As satisfied as I am with my 2024 2.3L's, I wish my 2025 had the MY2024 2.3L for commonality with my other two Broncos, and because it has proven itself to me.

It looks like the battery will have to be left out since the snorkel passes through there. ☹

If they make it emissions compliant, I'd love to know Ford's actual reasoning for not offering it from factory.

With that said, it's cool but I still don't see the need aside from to appease my caveman V8 noise desires.

NO, NO, NO, NO! I said it before, and I'll say it again!! We are doing the Godzilla not the coyote! (except @BigMeatsBronco, he still gets to do what he wants).


I honestly want a 4.8 289 in the 60th anniversary truck, natural aspiration.
