I installed a B&M shifter and learned some things along the way. It’s 63 steps and maybe some of this content can help you. Driving video at the end.

Great video but that install looks like a pita lol, the cable adjustments seem difficult to dial in

VERY nice video. I did the B&M shifter install on my Wrangler and would have loved to have had a video like this. But I found the instructions were pretty spot on. Looks like the Bronco install is a bit more involved, but many of the steps looked familiar. No matter how much of a PITA it is, this mod is DEFINITELY worth it. If I hadn't gotten an auto this time, this would have been my second upgrade after exhaust. I thought it totally transformed the driving experience with the Wrangler. Felt a lot more like a Jeep. Congrats on your install, and thanks for making the video to help others out.

I just finished the install and love the short throw and height of the shifter. I did however break both of the clips 🤦‍♂️ I found the cable in fords parts site but it looks like I have to spend $150 per cable to get the new clips. Any suggestions on how to get just the clips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again for the video. Very helpful.

I secured the cables to the transmission with hose clamps. I’ll probably replace the cable this summer. I’m guessing that after 1.5 years they’re probably getting rusty.

I ended up breaking my clips too, I was able to put them back in though and then just threw zip ties around them to make sure they didn't come out. Haven't had any issues!
