Made my own 4 tire inflator/deflator using flexzilla hose and ends.

I bought 50ft of 3/8 hose, 2 swivel ends and 4 regular ends. I used 2 Tee's, 5 ball valves, and 4 open air chucks. I found a generic manifold on Walmart's website and a measureman air guage.

Measured between the front and rear tire at the tread to give some lax wiggle room. Came up with 12ft 8in.

So lengths are working back to front.

12ft 8in rear tire to front tire.
10ft from front to manifold.

Leaving about 4ft extra that I will make into a short hose.

I put the swivel ends at the front tire connection to the line that goes to the manifold. since this will allow for the front tire to rotate and avoid some loop/tangle.

Layed out.

My thoughts.

I did not notice the "Closed" tire chucks until I got the "Open" ones I ordered and opened them. I would have ordered these closed ones vs the Open I ordered as it would save me the 4 ball valves. Not a huge deal.

Also I totally missed the fact when I ordered my Measureman that when I changed it to the long thread version it also set it to the 0-15psi instead of the 0-60psi. I have ordered a new one and why there is no tape and a LOT of threads showing. I installed it and it errored out right away live and learn...double check your order before submitting.

The open chucks seal great along with everything else and no leaks. Next is to find some kind of bag to put this spaghetti monster in.

This looks great! I was wondering why you had ball valves. Then you answered my question with this post. I really like this.

I like this idea. I initially didn't see the shut off at each tire to help keep it at different PSI

Price wise it is about in line with one of the setups you can buy and shows the value of those setups.

Things I am thinking might be useful to add.

On the 5th port I am thinking about adding 1 of 2 items.
1. a mechanical guage as batteries will fail.
2. add a shrader valve so the setup can be used by someone or situation that only has a tire chuck.

Maybe a 5th wheel or extension bits. A piece with a shrader valve and a T and another chuck to connect to a tire and tee off with a length to a back tire (5th tire addtion section). Or just a shrader valve and length with another chuck at the end to extend the length if ever needed.

This looks cool.

Forgive the “noob” question but why does one want this? Is it simply to avoid filling up one tire at a time? Or does it do more, like synchronize the pressure in each?

Both, it synchronizes tire pressure and with the main ball valve will either allow deflation at one time or inflation (with a gauge to check). Instead of bending over/kneeling down to do it one tire at a time.

Also with our 17 escape the tires are sensitive to temp changes and the low tire pressure light is sensitive as well. Using this on the other car will sync and fill much faster than taking the air hose tire to tire and checking to make sure they are the same.

Cool, thank you. I’m gonna look into this for mine. I assume you can buy one of these for more $$$?

1. yes its makes it easy to fill all 4 tire to the same pressure.
2. when you off road you air down for several reason and this makes it ssssoooo much faster an easier the one I bought was worth every penny. ballpark cut my air down air up time by 3/4 yea its that good.

How does it work if, for example, you hook it up but the tires all have different PSI’s to begin with? Does it auto sync?
