DIY Sleep Platform In Use on 4-Door Bronco

I have a temporary 4-Door Outer Banks that was sent to me as a promotional vehicular through the Team Bronco Ambassador program. To make any sort of use of it I had to build a simple platform in the rear to level out the “step” behind the rear seats.

The platform is really just 2x4s with a plywood top that is wrapped in marine grade flooring. All of it cost around $65 at Home Depot, and works great.

I agree, the soft top does look silly. But if you want a Bronco now, it's what you're forced to get.

my dude I've been plotting something similar for whenever my BL comes in. I've been wondering whether or not a cot/mat would fit alongside a fridge and this demonstrates it perfectly, thanks for sharing!

With a rear seat delete, the 2-door can fit a 6’3” person, so yes the 4-door with a rear seat delete can fit a 6’2” person.

One of many reasons I switched to a 4 door, the ability to sleep in it.

I didn't hear you say - did you remove the rear seats altogether in order to put that platform in? that seems like something most people wouldn't want to do since you lose the whole reason for having a 4 door (taking passengers)
