2,291 miles of smiles...10 day, solo road trip.

Hit the road and enjoyed the National Parks of the Grand Circle (it's 8 National Parks in a big loop, but I modified and visited 5 and a few other places). I took a detour to spend a little time at Forrest Gump Point (Monument Valley), where Forrest Gump decided to stop running and turned around. Also spent a couple of days in Las Vegas and caught the MECUM Auto Auction. (it was also cool to see the F1 layout for the race...it's gonna be awesome) I ended up visiting Black Canyon of the Gunnison NP, Mesa Verde NP, Grand Canyon, Zion NP, and Canyonlands NP. Ran 16 miles in the Grand Canyon (Rim down to the Colorado and back up to the Rim). Also had the Bronco on Shafer Trail, just outside Moab.

I had no itinerary and basically winged this trip. Had a map template, but did my own thing. Great way to take a road trip!

Here are a few photos I took...enjoy!

Awesome trip!!

But based on the picture of you by Delicate Arch in Arches NP, it looks like you hit 6 NPs.

Don’t sell yourself short.

Definitely Bucket List entries! Glad you “winged it”. We “dashed” to Yellowstone (from Virginia) years ago and included Rocky Mtn NP, Flaming Gorge, Glacier NP, Black Hills/Badlands NP for an unplanned 6321 miles.
See this beautiful and varied country! These pictures are a great incentive! Thanks and so glad you had a super time with your Bronco!
