Forgive the stupid question but does this also have a view dedicated to the rear view camera? That would be helpful for trips where the trunk is fully loaded out.

I’m thinking about one of the rear view mirrors that site a rear camera. Would be nice to have good visibility, even with the soft top down.

I installed this kit from 4dtech.com to allow camera in motion and nav/menu entry in motion. Rear camera toggle isnt an option with the kit yet but hoping they add it in with a future firmware upgrade.

This kit took a LONG time to install. The lower, upper and front of the dash (including the passenger airbag assembly) had to be removed to gain access to the SYNC module. The worst part was the top bolt holding the module tray of the 360 cam brain.… NO ACCESS

I agree. I think a rear camera toggle would be helpful for this exact use case. Ford really should have used a rear camera mirror with as little rear visibility as these Broncos have. Hoping they upgrade the firmware in this installed kit to allow rear camera toggle in the future

Happy Sunday Bronco Fam!

I can do that too... only catch is that I have to be in Baja Mode. There has to be an easier way than tearing apart the whole dash!

Congratulations on making this happen though! Well done!

Maybe if the FORscan folks can figure it out? Otherwise, CANopener needs to be inserted at the SYNC module connector and ours are especially tricky to gain access to.

This should be a do it on your own risk
Easy hack or even from factory
Same for broadcast phone screen
Netflix and all
After all we paid for a big 8/12” screen

@j_anderson I noticed you mentioned that the kit from 4dtech.com enables use of navigation/menu access while in motion. I’m mostly interested in the camera in motion functionality, but now I’m curious about how the navigation/menu functionality works in motion.

Does it only apply to the stock Ford navigation system, or does it also include access to third-party apps like Google Maps, Apple Maps, or Spotify? I'm particularly interested in whether Apple CarPlay functionality is affected by this kit.

It’s been countless times where my girlfriend and I are already on the road and need to update our navigation. With Siri being so spotty, it doesn’t always find the exact address, even if we say it verbatim. We find we have to pull off the road just to manually update an address on the phone itself (phone is always in my pocket due to CarPlay). Very cumbersome.

I’m hoping this product will allow my passenger to use the keyboard.

Looking forward to hearing your experiences and insights!

That’s it! Thanks for confirming! You’re literally the only person on the internet with video evidence of this product on a Bronco. Everything else I have seen are like 2015 F-150s. Going to buy this ASAP and prepare for an all day dash removal/install.

Youre welcome! I’ve noticed even with this product, I’m still speed locked out of the oil life menu when in motion
