All done! Didn't have to drop the tank, just losen 6 of the front bolts to lower it enough to fit my hand behind the frame rail and put the plate and nut (as well as insert the bottom of the front mount). I don't have a good pic of that bolt but i got one of the driver side and its set up the same. I did have to drill the 1/2" hole for the last bolt on the passenger side but that was pretty easy. I didn't have to trim anything on the gas tank skid plate where the bracket overlapped, I just sent it home with an impact and it bent just a tiny bit around the rock slider mount.

Awesome! You have now convinced me I can do this myself. Thanks for being the first one to get this done and provide this info. How far did you have to jack up the frame on the side in order to have the control arm drop far enough to get that bolt in?

This is my favorite thread in a very long time! The rails look great. I’m a customer (as soon as I get my Bronco)

I jacked it up until the tire stated to leave the ground.

I made a quick video that will hopefully help others out with the the install

The long bolts are on the front mounts only.

Yeah, I was an idiot and realized that when I rewatched the video and tried to edit the stupid question out. Lol. Thanks for letting me know though.

Now I just need to figure out how to raise them like you did with two floor jacks. Seems easy to say, but I'm trying to figure out how you kept them from flipping off the jacks.

They actually balanced quite nicely on the square pipe part. I did have to manually lift up and angle it a little bit to get the rear mount to slip around the LCA mount since you can't just Jack straight up to that spot, and the body mount gets a little in the way, it wasn't difficult though.

That was the shipping weight I think (maybe 127 lbs) for mine. So some extra for packaging and the rest is the sliders.

What do you do with the stick nut ends? Just leave them sticking out?

Thanks for much for posting this video. Install looks much easier than the lod signatures and these weigh 35-40 lbs less. Quick question: any drilling required? I didn’t see it mentioned in the video but I thought a little drilling was needed

I trimmed the ends so they don't hang out of the frame, but there isn't much else you can do beyond that.

Yeah, I still had to drill 1 hole for the passenger front bottom bolt, but it was super easy. Just follow the instructions from shrockworks on that part. It helps to use some lubricant while drilling to prevent annealing the metal and also helps manage metal chips falling on you since you are drilling straight up.

Driver side done. Not too bad but not easy. I think any frame mounted sliders is not gonna be easy. I did not have to remove the lower control arm. Just jacked up the bronco as earlier suggested. Awesome slider/step. Stout, looks good and no logos.
